Dr. Cici (Yanjia) Zhou, MD, FAAD
Double board-certified dermatologist
Dr. Cici Zhou, MD, FAAD, is a double–board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon in Las Vegas, NV. She is passionate about providing highly personalized, science-based patient care—taking the time to understand each patient’s skin, goals, and lifestyle to create treatment plans that truly fit.
She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where her love for medicine began early while volunteering at the local hospital delivering flowers to patients. That early calling led her to the University of Oklahoma’s competitive BA/MD program, granting her admission to medical school straight from high school. During medical school, she earned multiple scholarships and graduated in the top 5% of her class.
Dr. Zhou completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, CA, followed by dermatology residency at Loma Linda University in Southern California, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
She has published research in leading dermatology journals and has presented her work at multiple national professional conferences. She is a contributing author to Dermatology Fundamentals, a dermatology textbook, reflecting her expertise in evidence-based cosmetic and medical dermatology. Dr. Zhou is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds board certification in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs surgery).

People often ask me, “Why did you go into dermatology?” It's simple: every person’s skin tells a story. That story is often deeply personal, and it's special to see how improving skin health can transform not only appearance but also confidence and self-image. I love collaborating with my patients and families to uncover the right diagnosis and create tailored treatment plans that fit their life. Plus, dermatology gives me the privilege of caring for people across all ages and backgrounds. Finally, it's fun — we get to use everything from in-office procedures to lasers to chemical peels, which allows for highly personalized care. It’s an honor to be part of your skin journey!
